Was waiting for this kind of app since a long time, thanks !

After a few hours using it on my HTC Hero (Android 1.5), I see 2 problems :
- article icons are showned in my gallery, one album for each icon, it's a little messy, any way to hide this ?
- I am logged in with my Google Reader account, but no syncing, it says I have no new items, thought I have many unread items when I log on GReader website.

Keep up the good work :)

Hi!

- uncheck "fetch/show article icons" in the preferences - it will also speed up sync operations quite a lot.

- Paperdroid will only retrieve *starred* items in Google Reader. The rationale is this: you skim through your tens (or hundreds) of subscriptions (in list mode) and quickly star those that seem worth reading. If I made Paperdroid fetch all my unread items, my Magic would probably explode :) - and I wouldn't read more than 15% of them anyway.
But it might be reasonable to also fetch all items with a specific tag - say, your 'faves' subscriptions - so that you always have them up to date without starring. I'll add tag support for Reader in the near future, and will explore the possibility.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks a lot for the feedback and the nice words :)

Yes of course I can uncheck this option, but the icons are very useful for a "quick search on sight", I can easily and fastly find the article I need thanks to those icons ^^

For Google Reader... actually I didn't think that Paperdroid is NOT a feed reader... now I realize that it is very logical that it does not sync all unread items but only starred items, my mistake, sorry ;-)

Found something else : I'm french, and some page are not readable in Paperdroid, I guess there is issue with encoding :
this page http://tempsreel.nouvelobs.com/actualites/vu_sur_le_web/20091023.OBS5611/le_web_a_deja_les_moyens_de_contourner_la_loi.html is good, special letters are displaying correctly.
but on this page http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_the_kid I have weird symbols instead of special letters, thought everything is fine in browser view.

Ach! 1st: sorry for the superlate reply.

Then: I had completely misunderstood your point about icons :)
I did a bit of research, the issue should be fixed in v1.0.0 - thanks for the suggestion!

About GReader: v1.0.0, again, supports tags/folders. You can now choose to retrieve starred items and/or a list of tags (or folders). So if you have some precious feeds that you always want retrieved, just give them a nice tag, and voilĂ  - I use it for my friends' shared items and a strict selection of 1337 feeds, for example.

About the encoding issue: thanks a lot for the report (and the urls)! I'll look into it as soon as possible.
